Prerequisites

To apply Hotfix-076394.37 to Aras Innovator, confirm that the software is currently eligible for this hotfix. Next, download the necessary materials for the upgrade.

The following steps outline the process to check if Aras Innovator is eligible to apply Hotfix-076394.37.
1. Log in to Aras Innovator as an administrator.
2. From the Help menu, select About.
3. Confirm that the window shows the following MSBuild Number: 000000.00.
4. Navigate to Administration\Variables in the Table of Contents.
5. Confirm that the following set of variables is listed:

If eligibility requirements aren’t met, contact Aras Support before installing.

If the Prerequisites listed in the previous section have been met, the next step is to obtain the required upgrade files and utilities.

The Aras Update tool can be downloaded from https://www.aras.com/support/downloads.
Aras Update should be downloaded and installed locally on every node running an Aras Innovator component.

Hotfix-076394.37 is distributed through the Online Updates feature in Aras Update. Manual download is no longer required.

In Aras Update, select the Online Updates tab. Enter the Innovator Url, Database, Innovator login, and Innovator password for the instance to be updated, then click Get Packages:

Aras Update contacts the Aras subscriber service and lists the software updates available for that instance:

Click the listed patch release to expand it and show the specific release version, then click Install to download and install the package in one step, or click Download to obtain the package without installing it immediately:

Either action adds the package to the Local Packages tab in Aras Update, ready for the Automated Installation Option or the Manual Installation Option.
