IOM Reference

The Innovator Object Model (IOM) provides a programmatic interface to build and execute AML queries against the Aras Innovator Server. It is widely used in Server Methods, Integrations, and External Applications to perform common operations such as querying Items, manipulating relationships, promoting workflow states, or interacting with the vault.

Starting with Aras Innovator Release 35, the Aras IOM SDK is released as a standalone package and is no longer bundled with the Aras Innovator CD Image. It can be found in the Aras IOM SDK\<Version> on the FTP.

For documentation refer to the Aras IOM SDK Programmer’s Guide located in the Documentation folder within the Aras IOM SDK\<Version> folder on the FTP, or on the Aras Subscriber Portal.
