Aras Innovator consists of an API for developing Android Apps using Xamarin’s existing framework to generate an Android project.
The following sections describe the steps needed to create a sample Android App called ‘ArasAndroid’ that connects to an Aras Innovator 30 instance, retrieves the “IncludedSolutions” Variable from the Database, and displays the returned value.
The required steps are:
- Set up the required software.
- Create the application.
- Deploy the project.
The full code example is found in Appendix B at the end of this document. The rest of the document describes the procedures required to create a sample Android App.
