Products

A Product is an additional Item Type that represents something that a customer will buy from your company. A Product is related to one or more models, which are then related to a Parent Part item that contains the top-level BOM for the Product Model. Products may or may not be useful in your organization depending on your requirements and are not necessary for release or modification of Parts. As the Product is not directly under change management control, it has no Life Cycle.
