Other capabilities of Aras Workspace Productivity Connector are covered in this section.
Both Workspace and Aras Innovator have the concept of Properties: textual information that describes a Document. The Aras Workspace Productivity Connector can map properties between the Workspace file and Aras Innovator in both directions and at different points in the process. The options are:

As shown in the Creating and Saving Documents section, you can link an Aras Item—such as a Part or Project—when first creating the Document. After that, you can add or remove links at any time using the Links command.
If already existing links exist, you will see them in the task pane, and you can click the Delete Icon button to remove them. You can add any number of existing links by selecting the Item Type, then searching for and choosing the desired Item(s).
The advantage of creating the link during the initial creation of the Document is that the File Name and Document Number can be based on the linked Item. If a link is created later using Links, it does not affect the File Name and Document Number.
