Available Viewers

Aras Innovator provides five different viewers, depending on the type of file being viewed. Viewers are accessed from the sidebar of the item window. The following configuration steps are necessary for files to be accessible on the sidebar:

• The ItemType must be enabled for Secure Social (see section Enabling an ItemType for Secure Social)

• A FileSelectorTemplate must be defined, and set to include in the IDs of desired FileTypes in the Filter property (see section FileSelectorTemplate)

• A file with the specific FileType must be added to the Item at the Reference location as specified on the FileSelectorTemplate

Table 11 describes the viewers that are provided and support the listed FileTypes.

Any of the discussed FileTypes can be supported for viewing on any Aras Innovator ItemType, given the proper configuration.
