Defining user’s Locale in Browser

Microsoft Edge Chromium

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser and go to Settings --> Languages.
  2. Click on Add Languages.

  3. In the Add Languages dialog box, select a language such as Japanese.

  4. Click Add. Japanese appears in the Preferred Languages section:
  5. Select options on the Japanese Language and click Move to the top.

  6. Close the browser.
  7. Login to Aras Innovator as administrator/innovator and confirm that Japanese Language is applied.

Firefox for Windows

  1. Open Firefox browser and go to Tools --> Options.
  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. In the Languages Box, click Choose.

  4. In the Languages dialog box, click Choose…. The Webpage Language Settings dialog box appears.

  5. Click Select a language to add…. A listof available languages appears.

  6. Select Japanese [ja] and click Add. Japanese is added to the list of language settings.

  7. Click Move Down to move Japanese to the bottom of the list.

  8. Close the browser.
  9. Login to Aras Innovator as administrator/innovator and confirm that Japanese Language is applied.

Firefox for Mac

  1. Open Firefox browser and go to Firefox --> Preferences.

  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. For Languages, click Choose.

  4. Click Select a language to add….

  5. Select a language. For example, Japanese [ja-JP].

  6. Click Add and move it to the top.
  7. Close the browser.
  8. Login to Aras Innovator as admin/innovator and confirm that Japanese Language is applied.

Chrome for Windows

  1. Open the Chrome browser and click on the Customize button. Select Settings.

  2. Scroll towards the bottom and click Show advanced settings…

  3. Find the section on Languages and click Language and input settings…

  4. To add a new language, click the Add button and select the language you wish to add.

  5. To change the order of language preferences, drag and drop the languages in the list or select Display Google Chrome in this language.

Chrome for Mac

  1. Open the Chrome browser and click on the Customize button. Select Settings.
